2025 AHYA Convention - OKC July 17th
Each year AHYA members get together to gain leadership skills, learn what AHYA has to offer, meet other youth from across the country and vote on your new executive leaders.

At the 2025 Annual AHA Membership Convention Awards Banquet it was announced that Eustis, Florida youth Mikayla Clement is the recipient of the 2025 AHA Youth of the Year award. Mikayla receives the Youth of the Year perpetual trophy as well as a $5,000 scholarship from the Arabian Horse Foundation.
Passion, determination, and hard work are the foundation of this young woman’s approach to life. She currently takes on a lot of leadership roles within her school and community, especially within 4-H. Giving back to her community has always been one of her core values.
Moreover, Mikayla is an important part of the Arabian Horse Youth Association. She has served multiple years as the Region 12 Youth Director and Vice Director, planning events and encouraging youth involvement. Beyond this she is involved in helping grow new programs at their local and regional shows to keep youth involved and grow the community.
Mikayla Clement is a leader among her peers, serving her breed and others with a selfless attitude and the heart of a champion. AHA is proud to call her our 2025 ‘Youth of the Year’.
AHA would also like to congratulate, Ms Jatelyn "Bug" Burcham from Region 11 as the first runner-up for ‘Youth of the Year’ and earning a $1000 scholarship from the Arabian Horse Youth Association and Ms Madelyn Frendo from Region 13 as the second runner-up. Congrats to all!
