Quizes
True or False:
Qualifications are only good for one year...
Answer:
False! According to the AHA Handbook, Chapter 17, Article 1701.4, a horse must:
"Be qualified in a show that was held within the preceding calendar year and that period of the current year up to the closing date of entries for that particular National Championship Show in a qualifying class. (Includes AHA Medal qualification.)"
So, any qualifications earned between January 1, 2003 and a 2004 show's close of entries are eligible to be used.
Not sure if you're qualified? Check the class's category (1, 2, or 3) under Article 1721. Then find each category's qualification requirements from 1719.3. Free qualification records are available online under Member Login.
*Remember* Qualifications can be used repeatedly, for different shows, until they expire. BUT each class at a show must have its own separate and distinct set of qualifications… so you cannot use the same qualification for different classes at the same show.
Did you get it right? If so, congrats! If not, read on for more information!
