There are many ways to get to and from the Orlando International Airport. AHA will not be providing member transportation services. Other options are listed below.

RENTAL CARS

Orlando International Airport hosts a large, on-site rental car location with most of the major car rental companies located on airport grounds. The rental car companies are located in Terminal A and Terminal B on the Ground Transportation Level (Level 1). Please contact rental car companies directly, in advance of arrival, to book a rental car. Click here for a list of rental companies.

The Buena Vista Palace also provides an on-site Alamo National rental car desk on the first floor near the hotel spa and fitness center. For pricing information or to make a rental reservation, please contact the Alamo National desk at 407-827-6363 or visit Alamo online for a group discount.

HOTEL SHUTTLE SERVICE

Shuttle transportation to the Buena Vista Palace is provided to AHA Convention attendees at a discounted rate by Mears Transportation. The total discounted, round-trip cost for shuttles will be $29.00. Please print this VOUCHER to travel with.

You may (but are not required to) go to AHA's secure Mears page to schedule and pay for your shuttle ahead of time. If you choose to do so you will still need to go to the Mears location at the Orlando International Airport to receive your ticket (see below), but you may avoid lines by using the automated Mears kiosk.

Directions to find your Mears Shuttle at Orlando International Airport
After exiting your aircraft, proceed to the airline concourse where you will take an elevated tram connecting you to the main terminal. When exiting the tram, follow the signs to baggage claim.

After you claim your luggage, go to the Mears Motor Shuttle service counter. You will find the Mears locations on baggage claim level two and also on ground level one.

Simply present your VOUCHER to the Mears representative and they will issue you a shuttle ticket and direct you to the appropriate shuttle staging area outside level one. The Mears representative will direct you to the appropriate motor coach or shuttle van. The driver will load your luggage and take you to your final destination.

Please note that the shuttle is a shared ride and as such, you may incur a wait time of 20-30 minutes before departing the airport and could make up to 4 stops in route to the hotel.

Shuttle returns to Orlando Airport
Guests will need to call the Mears Customer Service Dept. at least 24 hours prior for return reservations. The number is 407-423-5566 (also printed on the back of your ticket). Guests can also make return reservations by stopping by the concierge desk in the main lobby of the Buena Vista Palace. Reservations will be scheduled at least 2 ½ - 3 ½ hours prior to flight departure time. The shuttle pickup is outside of the main lobby entrance of the hotel.

TAXIS AND PRIVATE CAR TRANSFERS

Taxis are readily available at the pick up area at Orlando International.
