Regional Boundaries Educational Forum

At least every 5 years, a Board of Directors motion from February 12, 1973, requires that AHA's Regional Boundaries be studied. The AHA Board of Directors requested this educational forum be presented to educate and update delegates and members on the committee's considerations. Everyone is encouraged to attend, ask questions, and provide input to the committee as the committee considers various options.

During this forum, Dr. Victoria Maxwell, Technical Services Veterinarian for Luitpold Pharmaceuticals, Inc, will review this constant joint renewal, repair and replacement cycle in the performance horse and the therapeutic options available to owners and trainers. This talk will review the FDA's approved therapies to reverse joint disease and answer audience's most common questions regarding prevention of joint disease in the equine athlete.
