We are grassroots horseback riding program for children and adults, teaching all aspects of horsemanship and riding with beautiful, safe Pure and Half Arabian horses (& a few ponies). Our program is hands on from day one and offers instruction in Western, English (Hunt Seat and Saddleseat) and even bareback riding. We are very involved with our community and do outreach such as free community rides, working with equine evacuation, and fundraising. We enjoy horse shows (big and small), gymkhanas/rodeos, parades, trail rides, swimming with the horses, beach trips, camping trips, clinics, and volunteer activities. We have two riding locations, serving two different communities and locations; Hidden Hills and the Santa Ynez Valley, both of which are rich in history of the Arabian horse. We keep an active presence on social media and ambassador for the Arabian horse as a family horse that truly loves you back. Our School Holiday and Summer Camp programs bring people from all over the country and our barn has created dozens of new Arabian horse owners, breeders, and competitors. We welcome visitors. Seeing the world through a young riders eyes has fueled Nedra Johnsons passion, helping her grow a riding program that has thrived for over 25 years from Hidden Hills to Santa Ynez. While the program is rooted in helping kids develop foundational riding skills and boost confidence in the saddle, Nedra finds the true reward in watching them cultivate lifelong skills that stay with them forever.The programs goal is to build a well-rounded foundation that students can carry into the show ring, onto the trails, or into any horse-related experience they pursue. Many of Nedras former students have gone on to become U.S. National Champions in both English and Western disciplines. Yet what she values most isnt the ribbons; its the confidence, independence, and character that horses help instill in her students. She believes that working with horses helps shape kids into capable, compassionate humans-skills that last a lifetime."There is something magical that happens between a child and a horse. Its transformative. Horses take kids out of their daily routines and into a world where patience, empathy, and trust are essential.They learn to listen, to lead, and to connect with something bigger than themselves. We are a 501c3 nonprofit riding program which aims to keep horses accessible and affordable. 90% of our herd are Arabians. We focus on horsemanship and learning from the ground up. We strive to showcase the versatility of Arabians and stress the connecting they make with people. Our horses so lessons, trails, gymkhanas, camping, dressage, endurance, ride and ties, parades, and more!

Our farm specializes in Arabian and Half Arabian training in Western Pleasure, Hunter Pleasure, saddleseat, Side-saddle, ranch riding and ranch rail. We also specialize on breaking young horses.

We foal out 10-15 Arabian foals a year. All clientele based. we stand 2 Arabian stallions to the public. Major Mac V and Felix Jamal El Arab. we just started a kids and adults lesson program.. we have on site reproduction vets that solely work out of the breeding center here doing embryo transfer, ICSi and problem breeding mares. We also have two trainers one ground training and one under saddle that worked for Sheila Varian for 20+ years.
