- Arabian Horse Association Sweepstakes Program Pays 2.2 Million
The Arabian Horse Association (AHA) recently paid almost 5,000 of its members 2.2 million dollars in prize money earned during 2007. The largest payout came from the Allocated Payout Program which paid $995,836, followed by the Points Payout Program that paid $971,256. Other payouts included categories from the Breeders Incentive Program like the Nominated Sire Payout that paid $74,572, the Allocated Nominated Sire Payout, which paid $42,664 and the Breeder Nominator Payout that paid $164,764. - 2008 AHA National Distance Ride Championships Set for October and Positioned for Success
The dates and locations are confirmed for the Arabian Horse Association (AHA) National Championship Competitive Trail Ride (CTR) and National Championship Endurance Ride. The CTR will be October 3-4, 2008 at Big River State Park in Keithsburg, Ill. and the Endurance ride will be October 16-18, 2008 in Henryville, Ind. The Endurance ride will be held, for the first time, in conjunction with the American Endurance Ride Conference (AERC) championships and will therefore follow AERC qualifications criteria. More...
