Meet the Volunteers

Laura Cunico
Laura Cunico rolled in to Albuquerque with contagious enthusiasm for the sixth year in a row. Laura volunteers at the barn office with stall tagging before the show then heads to the back paddock for the Horse Arena for the duration of the show. Laura recalls a memorable moment, "Last year I had a mother of one of the girls in Western Pleasure come over to me after her Championship Class. She gave me a big hug, and she had tears in her eyes. Of course I knew she was excited about her daughters win, I congratulated her and said I would see them next year. She said that this was their last year at YN because her daughter would be going off to college, and she wanted to tell me good-bye and 'Thank you for making the last four years so wonderful for her and her daughter'."
