U.S. Nationals


Judging teams gathered at the Radisson on Saturday morning for the Awards Breakfast and then were presented to exhibitors during the afternoon session in the Pavilion.


Several riders demonstrated the sport of Cowboy Mounted Shooting in the Ford Truck Arena. The demonstrators were the Lewis and Amsden families and AHA Treasurer Frank Galovic.

A/HA/AA Freestyle Invitational
Five riders competed in the inaugural Freestyle Reining class.

Gabriel Hutchins rode Flight of Fanci as the Headless Horseman to win the Freestyle Reining class.







Christina Derango and Echos Promise had a Top Gun theme and worked their pattern to the tune of "Danger Zone."


Brooke Pitassi rode to the tune of "Macho Man" with Megas Macho Man.




Lauren Whye and SRH Hollywood Jaci worked their pattern to "American Woman."


Indian squaws Sigourney Inman and Chickheletts also competed.




Opening Cermonies

The AHA, Canadian and U.S. flags were presented to kick off the finals night at U.S. Nationals. The flag presentation and national anthems were followed by a horn player and the retirement of Aequus+//, the recognition of the U.S. Nationals Show Commission and a speech by AHA President Myron Krause.

Arabian Western Pleasure



Rick Gault and Melody V were named chamions of Arabian Western Pleasure.





Brett Becker and Khontroversy PGA were named reserve champions in the Arabian Western Pleasure Championship class.

Arabian Mounted Native Costume
