Biography
The one and only NDL Pericles stands alone as the only horse that has won more titles than any other horse in the history of national shows. His stellar career began in 1987 as a halter stallion and he would go onto compete in English pleasure, mounted native costume, pleasure driving, English show hack, gelding in hand, Arabian ladies sidesaddle, western pleasure, and country English pleasure. He has an astonishing 30 national championships, 11 reserve national championships and 16 top tens. They call him the Energizer bunny because he never runs out of steam. He's loved by his owner Jill Zamboni Contreras and longtime trainer Wendy Potts as well as thousands of people who have been touched by this great horse.
