Biography
Half-Arabian Berried Treasure has wowed the judges since he stepped into the ring back in 1991 and took his first championship in the Sweepstakes Yearling Colt class at the Region 1 championship. This renowned Half-Arabian hails from the breeding program of Sheila Varian, and is sired by Huckleberry Bey out of the Saddlebred mare Prowlers Starlight. He is owned by Katie and Joe Russell of Santa Ynez, Calif. His prodigious show record includes includes 24 national championships, 17 reserves, 12 top tens and 5 top fives. He has proven again and again that he is a versatile champion and an excellent representative of a Half-Arabian with his wins in stock/hunter type gelding in hand, hunter pleasure, ladies English sidesaddle, working hunter, and English show hack.
