U.S. Nationals
Letter to Exhibitors
Dear U.S. National Show Exhibitor,
With the U.S. National Show now a matter of weeks away, the excitement and anticipation for our last visit to Louisville is mounting. We are looking for a large number of horses and exhibitors and a big turnout of spectators. We believe this show will go down in history as one of the best ones we've ever had for our breed. You are an important part of this event therefore I want to remind you of a couple of important points which will make your visit to Louisville as enjoyable and trouble-free as possible.
Please be aware that no early arrival requests for horses will be considered until September 20th. At that time, you may contact Barn Manager Glen True at 816-223-7496. Also, it is important to note that no horses will be allowed to arrive on the Kentucky grounds prior to 8 a.m., Saturday, October 7th.
The Department of Agriculture reminds us that all horses must have their health papers checked by department officials prior to unloading on the grounds. If a horse arrives with no health papers, the owners will be asked to remove the horse not only from the grounds, but from the state of Kentucky also.
Your U.S. Show Commission wants the information in this letter shared as widely as possible and is posting the letter on the Arabian Horse Association at the following link: http://www.arabianhorses.org/competitions/nationalevents/usnationals/2006/exhibitors.asp
We have had a tremendous interest in the final two nights of the show. Reserved seating tickets are sold out. For general admission tickets please contact www.ticketmaster.com or 1-800-487-1212
The U.S. National Show Commission would like to assure you that we are doing all that we can possibly do to make this National Show a wonderful experience for each and every one of you. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. We're all working toward the same goal: A wonderful U.S. Nationals for our horses, and for you, our exhibitors. We are looking forward to seeing you in Louisville!
Sincerely,
Lance Walters, Chairman
U.S. Show Commission.
