Meet the Volunteers

Cynthia Richardson
Third year volunteer, Cynthia Richardson hails from AHA's home state of Colorado. She traveled cross country for the 2009 Sport Horse National Championship.
Cynthia can be found spicing things up and adding some humor to the Hunter/Jumper ring as the Ring Steward. When asked where else she volunteers, Cynthia responds "Yes, I volunteer at other shows, but local ones." She adds that "There is only one Sport Horse Nationals."
Cynthia truly appreciates the atmosphere of this show. "Folks are excited to be there and the horses do so well in these disciplines." She sees touching moments here with horse and rider on a regular basis. "Since I'm the Hunter/Jumper ring steward, I present all the ribbons and trophies. It is fun to see some folks win their first Top 10 or higher," says Richardson.
With real dedication, Cynthia travels alone to this show leaving her husband and horses back home. Be sure to stop by and give her thanks for your appreciation!
