Progressive Barn Party Enjoyed by All
The Progressive Barn party gave exhibitors and guests a breather from the competition and a chance to mingle and socialize as they leisurely strolled through barn aisles.

Reserve Half-Arabian Working Hunter a True Comeback Kid
 
Champion TL Foolin Around with Alexandria Desiderio and Reserve Khandle in the Wind with Jennifer Roberts. The reserve is a true comeback kid, having competed with a fissure fracture for a year and a half which went undiagnosed by five vets. When finally discovered in 2004 by vet #6, the mare underwent surgery and is now back in the arena.

"It really shows how much heart the Arabian has," says owner Natalee Roberts. "because she just kept giving despite her pain just because we asked her."

Reserve AM Power Raid+ and Wendy Davis

Yvonne and Kim Barteau stood on the sidelines watching two of Al Marah's horses prepare for the class. Kim rides the bridleless Al marah Quebec in the Arabian Nights show in Orlando.

"This class is important because it shows a way to make the Arabian athletic in a sport horse kind of way. Horse have to be athletic," Yvonne says. "And balanced," adds her husband. "They need the correctness in their limbs and body."
