Sport Horse Nationals returns in its third year to the beautiful Virginia Horse Center, in Lexington, Virginia. Highlights will include a Jumper Mini-Prix on Saturday night, and the Musical Freestyle Dressage exhibitions on Friday Night. A new carriage driving division has been added in 2005 with three carriage driving classes: working, reinsmanship, and obstacle driving- pick your own route, which is sure to be a spectator favorite. All to be held on Wednesday. Also, new 2-year old in-hand jackpot classes will be held for Arabians and Half-Arabians/Anglo-Arabians, fillies, colts and geldings (no qualifications required). Get your horses ready now. Qualifications will be required for dressage and Sport Horse in-hand and under saddle classes this year.
Celebration of Arabian Sport Horse
Especially for visitors, join us Saturday, September 24 for Celebration of Arabian Sport Horse. Be educated and entertained as you start off the day with afternoon clinics by renowned sport horsemen David O'Connor (Hunter/Jumper) and Hilda Gurney (Dressage) and end the day with the Horse Illustrated Sport Horse Spectacular and Jumper Mini-Prix, edge-of-your-seat excitement celebrating the athleticism and style of the Arabian sport horse. And enjoy all these activities in conjunction with the 2005 Sport Horse National Championships.
