Do you like to spend time on your horse competing in distance riding events such as Endurance Rides, Competitive Trail Rides, or Ride and Tie competitions? If so, Arabian Horse Association would like to present you with an opportunity to receive recognition for your accomplishments.

The Competitive Distance Program (CDP) promotes and rewards riders who use Arabian horses to compete in distance riding events. Your efforts and achievements will be rewarded with recognition and prizes.

Sounds great... How do I join?

Riders who would like to compete in CDP must fill out the Incentive Program Sign-Up Form to join.

Program participants are defined as an individual rider, not a specific horse and rider combination. This means that as a rider, you may ride any number of horses, regardless of whether you own them or not, as long as they are all registered Arabians, Half-Arabians or Anglo-Arabians.

• Ohio Arabian and All Breed Trail Riding Society (OAATS)
• Ontario Competitive Trail Ride Association
• Ride and Tie Association
• Upper Midwest Endurance Competitive Rides Association (UMECRA)

*Please Note:*

• Endurance Rides MUST be finished and a minimum of 50 Miles and Limited Distance Rides must be between 25-35 Miles.
• Competitive Trail Rides MUST be finished and a minimum of 25 Miles while Novice Competitive Trail Rides MUST be between 15-25 Miles.
• Ride and Tie Rides MUST be finished and a minimum of 25 Miles.

How do I report my miles?

After you have enrolled in the CDP Incentive Program through the Incentive Program Sign-Up Form, you will have access to your account at any time right online.

Because all of the AHA Incentive Programs are online, you can update your miles and report a ride whenever it is convenient for you!

As soon as you log your miles in the online CDP Log, they will be permanently recorded in the CDP Incentive Program. Once you have reached a milestone (see below), you will receive your milestone award.

**Rides completed prior to enrollment in CDP will not be applied even if they were during the same calendar year**

What are the CDP Milestones & Awards?

The Competitive Distance Program rewards you for competing on a registered Arabian, Half-Arabian or Anglo-Arabian in all-breed Endurance, Competitive Trail or Ride and Tie events. By accumulating miles ridden in these events, you will reach milestones in the CDP Incentive Program and receive:
